Van Gaal: Daley Blind's injury is not a big fear

Daley Blind is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester United as a midfielder.

He is facing an extended period out due to the knee-ligament injury that he sustained playing in Holland’s 6-0 win over Latvia. Speculations have shown that he could be out for about six months with his ongoing injury.

But in the news posted by Mirror, BBC, Guardian and several others it seems that his injury will sideline him for several weeks but not for six months. Daley Blind could return to action for Manchester United before the end of the year after Louis van Gaal confirmed that the midfielder’s knee injury is not as serious as initially feared.

United boss Louis van Gaal said,"First he needs to rest for 10 days, then we will have a better idea,"
"I can't say it will be six to eight weeks," added Van Gaal. "I can't even say it will be 10 to 12 weeks. But it is definitely not six months."

United quickly deleted the tweet about Blind, who was injured in his country's 6-0 win over Latvia on Saturday.
