On Saturday morning six men have stolen more than 60 FI trophies from the Red Bull racing factory located in Milton kyes. The robbery was done at around 1.30 am on Saturday morning , according to the team and local police, total men involved in this robbery were six ,driving two vehicles with foreign number plates, proceeded to enter the factory by breaking the glass cabinet where all the precious trophies are stored, more than 60 trophies were taken during the incident.
Police were called immediately to the team’s base. “Police were called at 1.30am today (6/12) to the Red Bull Racing factory where a group of around six men used a vehicle to drive through the front entrance to gain access to the premises.
“Two cars were involved in the burglary. A silver 4×4 which was used to drive through the entrance and a further dark coloured, black or dark blue Mercedes estate car. Both are believed to have foreign number plates. There is no description of the offenders available at this time, although they are all believed to be men, wearing dark clothing.”
Nobody was harm during this incident which was occurred late night at red bull factory said by the local police there. The night staff at the night not physically harmed by the burglars said in the statement by the police.
Team boss Christian Horner said, “We are obviously devastated by this serious factory break in, which saw offenders drive a vehicle through our front entrance and steal more than 60 trophies which took years and hard work to accumulate”.
Horner added, “The break-in caused significant damage and was very upsetting for our night officers who were on duty at the time. The offenders took items that not only did not belong to them, but which represented the efforts of a group of dedicated, hard-working individuals.
“Beyond the aggressive nature of this break-in, we are perplexed why anyone would take these trophies. The value to the team is of course extraordinarily high due to the sheer hard work and effort that went into winning each and every one. But their intrinsic value is low; they would be of little benefit to those outside of the team and, in addition to that, many of the trophies on display were replicas.
“The actions of these men mean it’s likely that we will have to make our site less accessible in the future, which will be unfair on the hundreds of fans that travel to visit our factory each year to see our trophies and our Formula One car. We would like to appeal to anyone who knows any information on the whereabouts of these trophies or the offenders involved to contact Thames Valley Police.”

Lowe claims Horner making 'selfish engine demands'

Paddy Lowe hits out at Horner's 'selfish engine demands'

Mercedes technical boss Paddy Lowe believes that the demands for new engine in 2016 by Christian Horner are just a selfish task.  According to him the red bull boss is making such demands because Red Bull team are no longer a winning team.
The team using currently hybrid –V6 engine and now planning to return to the V8 engine or to standard twin–turbo v6 engine because he believes that it will cut costs and also beneficial for his team.
"Nothing could be a clearer example than what we're seeing, where somebody is feeling that he's not on top of the heap at the moment, therefore the rules are all wrong," Lowe told journalist Adam Cooper. "I don't remember that happening before. I've worked in teams who have had good years and very bad years; I don't remember anyone ever saying that we should change the rules so that I can win again. I don't get it.
"We've got clear rules; it was all designed with everyone's agreement. The reason you have rules for stability in F1, particularly around the power unit, is that it allows people to set good regulations at a distance to be uninvolved with your relative performance. When people are asking for rule changes at short notice it's all about self-interest."
Lowe added that he fails to see how changing engine again would amount to a cost saving, rather than what he believes would lead to further expenses for the manufacturers and teams.
"Apparently a twin-turbo is supposed to be cheaper and a cost saving measure against a single turbo," he added. "I haven't quite worked that one out! Perhaps we'll find out how that works. It completely contradicts all the other discussions in F1 which are around being cost effective and maintaining a platform whereby teams can compete whether they are financed as we are one end of the grid, or at the other.
"There is one simple fact in F1, rule changes cost money, particularly ones involving the engine, so it's just the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard for how to save costs in F1."

Horner: 2014 one of Red Bull's greatest season

Christian Horner says 2014 one of Red Bull’s best F1 seasons.

Christian Horner
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes that the 2014 is one of the best FI seasons for his team and Red Bull's recovery from such a tough start to 2014 has been one of the team's biggest achievements. Red bull really struggled during the pre-testing but the team fought back strongly and finished second in the construction championship after Mercedes.
“I think it's been the most challenging year,” Horner said. “As a team, if you look back over the last six years I think it's actually been one of our biggest achievements to come back from where we were pre-season.

“Almost having done no mileage whatsoever, to be at the end of the season second in the world championship, to be the only team to have beaten Mercedes, to have won three Grand’s Prix and have however many podiums as we've had I think has been – considering where we started and our horsepower handicap – an enormous achievement by the entire team.”
And Horner said Red Bull never seriously considered changing power unit supplier despite the tough start to the season with Renault.
Red Bull Racing is an Austrian Formula One racing team. It is one of two teams owned by beverage company Red Bull GmbH, along with Scuderia Toro Rosso. The Australian team becomes the first one to won four successive constructors championship titles in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
The team has used Renault engines since 2007, and has a contract to do so until 2016.
After an Austrian Grand Prix with poor results, Red Bull's boss Christian Horner described the performance of the Renault engine as "unacceptable." In an interview with Servus TV he said that, "the big difference between Mercedes and Renault is that when a driver with a Mercedes engine pushes the overtake button his car goes faster. When our drivers, which have a Renault engine, push the button, the car stops!"

Force India Co-Owner Vijay Mallya has slammed Red Bull after both of their cars were excluded from Abu Dhabi qualifying for running an illegal front wing. The two Red Bulls of Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel were excluded from the results of qualifying after the front wing flaps of both cars were found faulty and illegal during a post-session inspection.
Mallya along with Gerard Lopez of Lotus and Sauber's Monisha Kaltenborn – met with Bernie Ecclestone and CVC chairman Donald Mackenzie to discuss the current distribution of funds and said the smaller teams had got the attention of F1's owners. Then, following Red Bull's exclusion from qualifying for running illegal front wing flaps, Mallya was criticise the four-time world champions.
In a series of tweets, Mallya hit back at Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, who recently said that cash-strapped teams such as Force India should ”not turn up to a gunfight with a banana”.
A big F1 team that says we small outfits should not come with bananas to a gun fight, grabs maximum money and cheats on the regulations

Arrogance and a superiority complex on the part of those who are paid to be in F1 should not dilute or colour those who pay to be in F1

Have holders of purse strings and decision makers in F1 become slaves to the whims of the big boys and the contracts? What about F1 sport?
— Vijay Mallya (@TheVijayMallya) November 22, 2014
Mallya had made clear that he was not happy with some of the comments made by other team owners, especially those who do not have any ownership of the team.
He said, "Some of the team principals who are paid to be here and do not pay to be here like some of us, have made some disparaging and very arrogant remarks. One thing that comes out is that we go to gunfight with bananas. Well, I say it's all very well and enjoy the banana right now, but a time will come when the banana will become a nuisance."
