PSG Prepares a huge bid for Di Maria

Manchester United signed Di Maria from Real Madrid in August with the British transfer record fee of £59.7m.

News posted by DailyStar and recent Speculations have suggested that Ligue 1 champs (PSG) is swooping in to land Di Maria to Parc des Princes.

The Ligue 1 champs (PSG) currently have a £50m ceiling for spending on new signings according to FFP, but reports in France claim PSG are confident of having their sanctions eased.

The financial fair play (FFP) regulations provide for sanctions to be taken against clubs who do not spend within a set budgetary framework over several seasons.PSG were fined £20m by UEFA in May for violating FFP rules and warned about their future conduct.

Having already laid out £50m to sign defender David Luiz from Chelsea and another £8m on Toulouse full-back Serge Aurier, PSG chiefs scrapped a big money swoop for Di Maria as it would see them once again breach FFP.

Prior to this, the big-spending Ligue 1 champs had been leading the race to land Di Maria and were in advanced talks to bring him to the French capital.

PSG Manager Laurent Blanc is still keen on a deal for Di Maria, who has hit the ground running at United since trading the Bernabeu for Old Trafford.

His interest is unlikely to be welcomed by United boss Louis van Gaal and the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

However, earlier this month, Di Maria hinted that his future may lie in Paris.

“PSG, they had a money problem and they couldn’t buy players,” the Argentina international said.

“It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris.I know I’m still young, perhaps I’ll go to PSG one day. I don’t know how it will all end.”

Andre Schurrle
A Chelsea source revealed to The Sun, “José’s got to generate his own spending money in January but doesn't want to sell any of his top stars,"

"So he's looking at his fringe players and, on current form, Schurrle is the obvious choice.

"He's not a regular and his form has been woeful this season — a real drop despite having returned from Brazil on a high after winning the World Cup.

"He'd also bring in a good fee, giving Jose the funds to move into the market himself."

The German International Schurrle  is stalling on a new deal at Dortmund and is attracting interest from premier league giants including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.

In news posted by Daily star it was also found that Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham have joined the hunt for Schurrle's signature.
